I’m originally from downstate New York, and I moved upstate to be closer to my then-boyfriend, now husband. Photography has always been my creative outlet, a way to connect, explore, and celebrate life. Devin Collins Media started as a way to share that passion and has grown into a space where I get to work with people I love meeting, capturing the details, energy, and personality that make each story uniquely theirs.

We start with a conversation to get to know you, your vision, and your goals. I'll guide you through session ideas, timelines, and locations so every detail feels intentional.

2.Prepare & Guide

Before your session or wedding day, I'll provide tips on outfits, timing, and poses. On the day, I guide you through everything so you feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera.

3. moments & motion

I focus on both the big moments and the small, candid details. Whether it's a wedding, portrait session, or event, I document everything with intention, storytelling, and creativity.

4.Deliver & Relive

After your session, I'll carefully edit your images to perfection to create a stunning gallery. You'll receive your photos in a shareable digital gallery so you can relive your memories and share them with family and friends.

We’re awkward in photos… is that okay?

More than okay, it’s completely normal. Almost everyone I work with says this at first. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. I’ll guide you the whole way in a way that feels natural and easy, so you can focus on being present with each other instead of worrying about the camera.

How do you create such natural, candid photos?

I pay attention to the in-between moments just as much as the big ones. I’ll give you light direction when needed, but I also step back and let things unfold naturally. The goal is for your photos to feel like you, not overly posed or staged.

What if we don’t know what to wear or how to prepare?

I’ve got you there too. After booking, I’ll send guidance to help you feel fully prepared, from outfit ideas to location tips. You can always reach out with questions along the way. I want you to feel confident and excited going into your session.
