I’m Devin, the photographer behind Devin Collins Media. I’m originally from downstate New York, but I found my way Upstate chasing a life that felt slower, more grounded, and a little more me. Somewhere between ski days, hikes, lake days, and quiet drives with my camera bag always packed, I realized I was most drawn to the moments that feel natural and unposed.
That’s really where Devin Collins Media was born. What started as me documenting life as I saw it turned into a way of telling other people’s stories with the same intention. My approach is simple. Keep it real, keep it feeling like you, and turn fleeting moments into something you can come back to for years to come.

Where are you based and do you travel for weddings or sessions?
I'm based in Upstate New York and photograph throughout the Capital Region, Hudson Valley, and beyond. I absolutely do travel for weddings and portrait sessions!! Whether it’s local or destination, I’m always open to going where your story takes you!
What types of photography services do you offer?
I specialize in weddings, couples, portraits, branding, and meaningful life milestones. My work is rooted in storytelling, capturing real emotion, connection, and the in-between moments that make your story yours!
How would you describe your photography style?
Genuine, emotional, and a little editorial. I guide when needed but focus on natural moments so your photos feel like you, not stiff or overly posed!
What does the booking process look like?
It starts with your inquiry form where you share your date and vision. From there, I’ll check availability, send over details, and answer questions. Once you’re ready, a signed contract and retainer officially lock your date in!
Do you help with planning, timelines, or posing?
Yes, of course!! For weddings especially, I help with timeline guidance so your day feels relaxed and not rushed. During sessions, I also provide direction so you never feel uncomfortable, but I still leave space for candid moments to happen naturally!
When will we receive our photos and how are they delivered?
You’ll receive sneak peeks within 48 hours of your session or wedding, followed by a fully edited online gallery delivered with care. Portrait sessions are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks, and wedding galleries are delivered within 6–8 weeks. Everything is sent through a password-protected online gallery where you can easily download, share, and print your images.
